This Alessi watch is called the Kaj and is designed by Rashid Karim. It's probably one of our favourite designs from Alessi. It's a watch that screams originality and you will get asked about it, all the time. The face is an unusual shape, almost round but still square and the whole watch case sits quite high on the wrist which we think makes it even more appealing.

The designer, Venturini Guido, likes simple Italian styles and this watch really is a masterpiece of simplicity at first glance. However, on closer inspection you see the little details that we all love, the hands and markers are very cool for instance. Did we mention it was an automatic? No? Well it is! And because it's manufactured by Seiko the time keeping is superb.

This watch is classic in feel and has a minimalist approach. Alessi used the services of designer Piero Lissoni who is renowned for his simple and clear designs. We think that although the watch is pretty minimalist there is enough going on, not only to make it rather interesting, but also quite bold. Definitely a unique watch of mighty sophistication.
